UK homebuyers favour Australia

UK first-time buyers have named Australia as their most popular overseas destination for buying property.

A report from UK foreign exchange group Moneycorp found that 86% of buyers thought they would get more for their money overseas, with Australia topping the list as their preferred buying destination.

The report said a strong currency and economy and good value for money made it an attractive location.
